MATHILDA GRUNER Mrs. Mathilda Gruner, former resident of Saginaw and for the last 30 years a member of the summer colony at Point Lookout, died Sunday at her home, 75 Aberdeen Place, St. Louis, Mo. Mathilda Seyffardt was born in Freeland, Saginaw County. She was married to Philip Gruner of St. Louis, Mo., about 62 years ago, and went to St. Louis to make her home. Mr. and Mrs. Gruner were frequent visitors in Saginaw, and about 30 years ago built a cottage at Point Lookout. Mr. Gruner died in 1915. Mrs. Gruner was a member of the Ethical Society of St. Louis, Mo. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Phillips Moss and Miss Gladys Gruner, a son, William Gruner, and a sister, Miss Bertha Seyffardt, also of St. Louis. A brother, William Seyffardt, life-long resident of Saginaw, died this month. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at her home in St. Louis.
