Deaths

Stefan Potkan
Stefan Potkan, who was born in Czechoslovakia, and who was a resident in the 
Frankenmuth area for the past 15 years, passed away on Feb. 26.  For the past 
15 years Mr. Potkan had been employed as a chef for the Frankenmuth Bavarian 
Inn.  He leaves his wife, the former Carol A. Childs, whom he married on Sept. 
20, 1966, and one son, Stefan, and one daughter, Lori.  A sister and one 
brother lives in czechoslovakia.

Funeral services for Mr. Potkan were held on Feb. 28 with the Rev. Fr. Charles 
Keho officiating.  Burial was in Frankenmuth Township cemetery.  Memorials 
were requested for the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church building fund.
