Randall, 2066 Mackinaw street. Elizabeth Schairer was born march 20, 1848, in Scio, Mich and married Henry Schreader December 28, 1871 in Sebewaing, where they lived until Mr. Schreaders death in 1909. For the past 21 years she has made her home with her daughters and since 1923 she lived with Mrs. Randall in Saginaw. She was a member of the Evangelical church. She is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Charles Wilson of Deckerville, and Mrs. Randall, four sons, George of Gladstone, Herman of Detroit, Fred of Sebewaing and Henry Schreader of Saginaw, two sisters, Mrs Lydia Small of Saginaw and Mrs. Albert Bauer of Unionville, three brothers, John George and Ottmar Schairer of Sebewaing, and 59 grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 am Monday at the Randall home 2066 Mackinaw street with Rev. Henry W. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Sebewaing. (handwritten died Nov 28, 1930) (I also have her sister's obit) - SMALL -Mrs. Lydia Small, 81, widow of Charles Small, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Fink, 128 North Woodbridge street. Lydia Schairer was born April 5, 1855 in Huron Co, near Sebewaing. There she was married to Herman Pohlman Oct. 21, 1880 and the couple moved to Saginaw. Mr. Pohlman died in 1892 and in 1906 she was married to Mr. Small, who died two years later. Mrs Small was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran church and its Ladies Aid society. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fred Gash of Wellston O., and Mrs. Fink; a brother, Othnar Schairer of Sebewaing; a sister, Mrs. Albert Bauer of Unionville, three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren) Schraeder Frederick, life long resident of Sebewaing, died at the state hospital at Pontiac at 9 P.M. Sunday evening after and illnes of about a year. Mr. Schraeder was born in Sebewaing, Nov. 9, 1872 and was married to Mrs. Hattie Sthal in 1912. Mrs. Schroeder passed away Jan 29, 1934. Surviving are two step sons, Wm. Stahl of Wyandotte, Floyd of Sebewaing, two brothers, Herman Schraeder of Detroit and Henry of Saginaw; two sisters, Mrs Roy Randall and Mrs. Mary Wilson, both of Saginaw. The funeral was held at the Floyd Stahl home Wednesday afternoon at 2 P.M. with Rev. H.E. Ryan Pastor of the Evangelical Church officiating. Burial was in the Schraeder family plot. (handwritten died June 24, 1945) Lydia Emilie Schroeder B: 4 Apr 1874 DEATH CLAIMS GEORGE SCHREADER - Funeral Services will Be Held Here Thursday Morning - George Schreader, 63, Soo Line railway employee, died at General hospital in Minneapolis on Sunday following an illness of several months duration. The body will arrive here this morning on the Soo Line train and will be taken to the Allo funeral home and then to the Schreader residence, 1021 Superior avenue, this afternoon. Mrs. Schreader is accompanying the body from Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic church 9 o'clock Thursday morning, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Schaul officiating burial will be in Fernwood cemetery. Mr. Schreader was born in Sebewaing, Mich., and came to Gladstone about forty years ago. He was employed as a cooper for several years at the Soo Line docks and later became a boilermaker and acetylene welder at the roundhouse here. About two years ago, he transferred to railway shops at Enderlin, North Dakota, but had not been working the last several months because of illness. Besides his widow, Mr Schreader is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Herman, Detroit; Fred, Sebewaing; Henry, Saginaw; Mary, Deckerville; and Mrs Roy Randall, Saginaw. OBITUARY - GEORGE SCHREADER - The body of George Schreader, 62, Soo Line railway employe, who died at the General Hospital in Minneapolis Sunday, arrived here yesterday morning and was taken to the Schreader residence, 1021 Superior avenue. Funeral services will be held at All Saints church 9 o'clock Thursday morning, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Schaul officiating. Burial will be in the Fernwood cemetery. Mr. Schreader was born in Sebewaing, Huron County, Feb. 6, 1876. He moved to Munising when 20 years of age and worked for the Munising Stave and Hoop company for several months until he came to Gladstone in December 1896. He was employed with the Northwestern Cooperage and Lumber company for ten years and then became a cooper at the Soo Line docks. In February 1911, he began working at the roundhouse, later becoming a boilermaker and acetylene welder. In December, 1934, Mr. Schreader was transferred to Enderlin, N. Dak., where he was employed in the roundhouse until he was taken ill last Jan. 5. Mr. Schreader was married to Carrie Duchaine of Gladstone on July 27, 1903. Besides his widow, he is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Fred, Sebewaing; Henry, Saginaw; Herman, Detroit; Mrs. Charles Wilson, Deckerville; and Mrs Roy Randall, Saginaw.
