DEATH CLAIMS GEORGE SCHREADER - Funeral Services will Be Held
 Here Thursday Morning - George Schreader, 63, Soo Line
 railway employee, died at General hospital in Minneapolis on
 Sunday following an illness of several months duration.  The
 body will arrive here this morning on the Soo Line train and
 will be taken to the Allo funeral home and then to the
 Schreader residence, 1021 Superior avenue, this afternoon.
 Mrs. Schreader is accompanying the body from Minneapolis.
 Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic church 9
 o'clock Thursday morning, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Schaul
 officiating burial will be in Fernwood cemetery.  Mr.
 Schreader was born in Sebewaing, Mich., and came to Gladstone
 about forty years ago.  He was employed as a cooper for
 several years at the Soo Line docks and later became a
 boilermaker and acetylene welder at the roundhouse here.
 About two years ago, he transferred to railway shops at
 Enderlin, North Dakota, but had not been working the last
 several months because of illness.  Besides his widow, Mr
 Schreader is survived by three brothers and two sisters:
 Herman, Detroit; Fred, Sebewaing; Henry, Saginaw; Mary,
 Deckerville; and Mrs Roy Randall, Saginaw.
 
 OBITUARY - GEORGE SCHREADER - The body of George Schreader,
 62, Soo Line railway employe, who died at the General
 Hospital in Minneapolis Sunday, arrived here yesterday
 morning and was taken to the Schreader residence, 1021
 Superior avenue.  Funeral services will be held at All Saints
 church 9 o'clock Thursday morning, with Rev. Fr. Joseph
 Schaul officiating.  Burial will be in the Fernwood cemetery.
 Mr. Schreader was born in Sebewaing, Huron County, Feb. 6,
 1876.  He moved to Munising when 20 years of age and worked
 for the Munising Stave and Hoop company for several months
 until he came to Gladstone in December 1896.  He was employed
 with the Northwestern Cooperage and Lumber company for ten
 years and then became a cooper at the Soo Line docks.  In
 February 1911, he began working at the roundhouse, later
 becoming a boilermaker and acetylene welder.  In December,
 1934, Mr. Schreader was transferred to Enderlin, N. Dak.,
 where he was employed in the roundhouse until he was taken
 ill last Jan. 5.  Mr. Schreader was married to Carrie
 Duchaine of Gladstone on July 27, 1903.  Besides his widow,
 he is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Fred,
 Sebewaing; Henry, Saginaw; Herman, Detroit; Mrs. Charles
 Wilson, Deckerville; and Mrs Roy Randall, Saginaw.
 
 OBITUARY - GEORGE SCHREADER - Funeral services for George
 Schreader, 62, were held at All Saints church yesterday
 morning, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Breault officiating.  Burial
 was in Fernwood Cemetery.  The pallbearers were: Michael
 Stemac, William Grawey, Alex Renard, P.A. LeClaire, Phil Hupy
 and B.J. Micks.  Out-of-town residents, who attended the
 funeral included; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Branger, Green Bay,
 Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Florian Duchaine, Iron Mountain; Mrs.
 Charles Wilson, Deckerville; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schreader,
 Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Randall, Saginaw; Mrs. William
 Ehnerd and daughter, Mary Jane; Wm. J. Duchaine; Mrs. Laura
 Fulshur, Marjorie Fulshur, Escanaba; Mrs. (article ends)
