Age 72 years. She was born Jul 9, 1883 in Hillsdale County. On Jan 4, 1950 she was married to George Fairbanks in Montrose. He survives her. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, Floyd Combs, Lapeer; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mona Dunckel, Williamston and Miss Mildred Fairbanks, Lansing; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Montrose Free Methodist Church. Rev. Irwin Hoose will officiate, with burial in Rowley Cemetery, Williamston. Friends may call at the Cole Funeral Home, Montrose til 11 a.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until time of service at the church. jic
