CARSON WAS FROM BRANT Mrs. Viola Palmer Carson, 65, who was born in Brant township, July 3, 1896, died at Lansing General Hospital. Mrs. Carson had been ill only a short time. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Brant Methodist. Rev. J. Charles Dibley of the Brant church officated and burial was in Wildwood Cemetery in Chesaning. She was the daughter of James and Harietta Neff and attended Brant schools. She was married to Russell Carson who survives. Her residence was at 17185 Washington Aenue in Lansing, Mich. Surviving her are her husband; a son, Bernard of Brant; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Vincent of Chesaning; a sister, Mrs. Grace Palmer of Chesaning; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
