Henry came to the US in 1907 aboard the SS Lake Michigan, a Canadian Pacific railway ship. He came with Conrad who was 20 years old and their sister, Anna, who was 18. They were all born in Krasnojar, Samara, Volga, Russia. Their mother Sophia Simon-Schleicher , cousin and 3 half siblings came to America in 1912 because of the hard work of Conrad, Anna and Sophia. Henry married Sophie Zittel, from another Volga-German family in Saginaw. They have 5 children. The crypt is is 947.
