Marjorie Isabelle (Buby) Burke
June 30, 1911 - June 3, 1993
BROWN CITY - Marjorie Campbell-Burke, 81, died Thursday, June 3, 1993 in 
Marlette.  She was born June 30, 1911, in Brown City to Herman and Mary Buby.  
She was a graduate of the Brown City High School class of 1928.  She married 
William Campbell in 1933.  He died in 1965.  She then married Thomas J. Burke.  
She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Brown City Women's Club.  She 
had been active in the Band Boosters for many years and was a member of Calvary 
Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and 
Geraldine Campbell of Sault St. Marie and Ronald and Linda Campbell of Brown 
City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Kenneth Myers of Marshall and 
Christine and John Howko of Marquette; 10 grandchildren and three 
greatgrandchildren; a brother, Robert Buby of Dearborn; two sisters, Virginia 
Uhlinger of Sutten Bay and Mary Kennedy of Marlette.  She was preceded in death 
by six brothers. 

Services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Carman Funeral Home in Brown City.  The 
Rev. Dallas Berry will officiate.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.  
Visiting is 2 to 9 p.m. today.  Published Port Huron Times Herald  Saturday June 
5, 1993.
