Christopher F Block
Minden City, Sept 6 - Christopher Florenze Block, 85, resident of this 
vicinity 84 years, died Thurs afternoon in the home of his son, Rudolph 
Block. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tues in SS Peter & Paul 
Cath ch, Ruth with burial in the church cemetery. Mr Block is survived by 
2 sons, Joseph and Rudolph Block, and a brother, Wendell Block, all of 
Minden City; and 11 grandchildren. He was born July 23, 1861 in Germany 
and came when he was 1 year old to the farm where he died.
