Sandusky Michigan Newspaper February 1936
John Evans, living three miles north of town, passed away at the family 
residence Saturday at the age of 93 years.  The funeral was held Monday 
afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the home. Burial was in the Croswell cemetery. He 
is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. George Palling, Carsonville, 
and Mrs. William Watson, near Lexingon; one son, John, at home.  The deceased 
was born in New York state and came here when a young man.
