"Larry" Gwisdalla, 48, of Port Sanilac, formerly of Paris Township, passed away Friday, April 19, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center of Saginaw after a long illness. He was born on Nov. 30, 1953, in Detroit to the late Frank and Theresa (Jaskowski) Gwisdalla. He was never married. Larry worked at the Chrysler Lynch Road plant for a few years. He was a truck driver for various companies for the last couple of years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Parisville. He enjoyed the lottery and visiting with his great-nephews. Larry is survived by his two brothers, Walter Gwisdalla and his wife, Betty, of Ferndale, and David Gwisdalla of Warren; two nephews; one niece; and one special niece, Theresa Caird and her husband, James, of Sandusky. The funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Parisville. The Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be a parish vigil service at 8 p.m. today at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Visitation will be 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
