Obituary for Mrs Robert Gripton, Omard, Sanilac County, Michigan

        Died - Tuesday, July 8, 1890 at Omard, Mich., Caroline Mary, beloved wife of 
Robert Gripton and daughter of John and Elizabeth Shephard.  Age of deceased 29 years, 
three months and five days.  She was born in Adelaide, Ontario; has resided in this 
place about ten years.  A husband, two children, the youngest a babe of eleven weeks, 
will miss the gentle voice of a loving wife and tender mother.  Through all her long 
and painful illness she was never known to murmur.  Since September 89 she has been 
sinking with consumption.  All that loving hands of husband, parents, brothers and 
sisters could do was done, but the precious life could (copy ends here).
