Krumenaker Argyle Eugene F. Krumenaker, 88, life long resident of Argyle died peacefully Friday, February 11, 2011 at his son's home in Port Huron. He was born April 24, 1922 in Argyle, son to the late Ernest and Clara (Pulcer) Krumenaker. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1941. He served his country in U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Krumenaker owned and operated Genes Service Station in Argyle for 35 years until his retirement. Eugene was a long time member of St. Joseph and St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Argyle. He enjoyed making custom greeting cards, doing word puzzles, traveling, polka music, watching game shows on TV and spending time with his family. He is survived by a son, Dan and Dora Krumenaker of Port Huron; daughters, Laurie and Jerry Anderson of Marlette, Melanie and Daryl Williamson of Kingston, Paula Carter of Applegate; brother, Walter (Buck) Krumenaker of Imlay City; sisters, Eileen Branenberg of Marysville, and Grace Krumenaker of Royal Oak; 8 grandchildren, Ryan McConnachie, Austin Carter, Jason Krumenaker, Brenda Krumenaker, Jennifer Deperez, Angela Anderson, Sarah Traub and Kandace Baker; and special friend, Helen Peters of Argyle. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilfred and Francis (Duke); and sisters, Rose and Marian. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph and St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Argyle with Fr. Paul Bala officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph, St. Ignatius Cemetery in the spring. Memorials may be donated to Blue Water Hospice Inc., 1422 Lyon St., Port Huron,MI. 48060. Visitation will be held on Monday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Sandusky and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle. A rosary service will be held on Monday night at 7pm at funeral chapel in Sandusky.
