Kenneth Vincent Leese
September 19, 1945 – January 19, 2023
Kenneth Vincent Leese, 77, of Sandusky, Michigan passed away at 3:12 AM on 
Thursday, January 19, 2023 at McLaren Hospital in Port Huron, Michigan.  Kenneth 
was born in Port Hope, Michigan on September 19, 1945 to the late Harold and 
Gertrude (Champagne) Leese.  He graduated from Port Hope High School with the 
Class of 1964 and from Michigan State University in 1966.  Kenneth served his 
country during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army.  He was a member of 
the VFW Sandusky Post #2945 and the Harbor Beach Knights of Columbus Chapter 
#11432.  Kenneth enjoyed a variety of hobbies including woodworking, Polka 
dancing, tree farming, making toys, antiques and thrift store shopping, fall 
color trips and he also enjoyed his coffee.

Kenneth is survived by his five children, Janette Leese (fiancé, Curtis 
Marcyes), Laura Leese, Michael (Karly) Leese, Jeffrey (Astrid) Leese and Angela 
(Emmanuel) Arum; eleven grandchildren, Selene, Reagan, Henry, Kendall, Grace, 
Kate, Sebastian, Arthur, twins Anton and Ameer, and Eilam; siblings, Dorothy 
Warner, Herbert (Betty) Leese, Arnold (Judy) Leese and his identical twin 
brother, Bernard (JoAnne) Leese; numerous nieces and nephews; and his much 
beloved German Shepherd, Tobi. Kenneth is preceded in death by his siblings, 
Margaret Schulte, Mildred Pease, Albert Leese, Wilbert Leese, Robert Leese, 
Melvin Leese, Caroline Ehnis and Alvin Leese.
Family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM with a 7 PM Scripture Service on 
Friday, January 27, 2023 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Sandusky, Michigan and from 
10-11 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Sandusky, Michigan.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Sandusky, Michigan with Father Stephen Blaxton officiating.  
Burial will take place with veteran honors at Marquardt Cemetery, 6361-6483 
Moeller Road, Port Hope, MI 48468.  Memorials may be made to Sanilac County 
Veterans Affairs at 171 N Dawson Street # 227, Sandusky, Michigan 48471.  A 
Celebration of Life / Polka Party to follow in 2023. The event date, time, and 
location will be posted on Leese Reunion Page. Published Marsh Funeral Chapel,
