Mary Anna (Schefka) Longuski November 8, 1942 - October 18, 2020 Mary Anna Longuski, age 77, of Peck passed away suddenly on October 18, 2020, due to injuries suffered when she was struck by a vehicle while doing her daily walk. She was born in Bad Axe, Michigan to Casmier and Frances Schefka in 1942. She graduated from St. Peter & Paul High School in Ruth. Mary Anna was united in marriage to Marvin Longuski on June 25,1966. She was a stay at home mother to her three children until all of them were attending elementary or preschool. She then decided to enroll in nursing school at St. Clair County Community College where she graduated third in her class in 1982 as a registered nurse. Mary Anna worked at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron for over 25 years and then several years at Marlette Hospital on a casual basis. She was a long-time, very involved member with St. John Catholic Church in Peck, now Holy Family. Mary Anna enjoyed being with family and trips up-north to the cabin in Newberry. She enjoyed travel and visited places such as Hawaii, Alaska, New York, Ireland, Poland, Germany, Italy and the Caribbean. She took great pride in keeping her yard maintained and was commonly seen on her zero turn mower or hauling brush with her Honda ATV. Whenever the family or their friends stopped by her home or Deer Camp One as it was sometimes called, they were treated to more food than they could eat. She wasn't trying to impress anyone, it was just what she did. She was a modest hostess. Mary Anna was a caring, loving and generous woman who saw the good in everyone.
