Peplinski Sandra "Sandy" M. Peplinski, age 56, of Cass City, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born July 11, 1965 in Bad Axe, daughter of Leonard and Marjorie (Parrish) Briolat. She married Michael Peplinski on June 25, 1987 at St. John's Catholic Church in Ubly. She served as the church secretary for Good Shepherd Parish-St. John Catholic Church for the last 6 years of her life. Prior to this, she was a child care provider for 10 years. Sandy enjoyed gardening, camping, wine, polka music, dancing and spending time with her family, especially if it was outside. She made the best sour cream sugar cookies. She loved to laugh and was the life of any party. She loved hosting parties and generally being with people. Most of all, she loved being a loving mother to her four kids and wife to her amazing husband. Sandy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Mike Peplinski of Cass City. Her children – Torrie Peplinski of Jackson, Tyler Peplinski of Grand Rapids, Jessica (fiancι Travis Woodward) of Birch Run, Kimmie Peplinski of Cass City. Parents – Leonard and Marjorie Briolat of Ubly. Siblings – Mike (Diana) Briolat of Ubly, Steve (Lisa) Briolat of Ubly, Lori (Bruce) Uhl of Cass City, Gerry (Gail) Briolat of Ortonville, and Pam (Al) Pionk of Ubly. In-laws – Frank (Georgia) Peplinski of Ubly, and Barb (Leonard) Partaka of Gladwin. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandy was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law – Frank and Lillian Peplinski of Ubly and a sister-in-law, Pat Smith of Ubly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11 am at Good Shepherd Parish – St. John Catholic Church in Ubly. Officiating will be Fr. Nate Harburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 1 – 8 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or Saturday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. A funeral luncheon will be served immediately following Mass in the church hall. A scripture service will be offered on Friday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
