 Christine Ann (Osantowske) Ulfig
November 29, 1933 - November 29, 2023
Christine A. Ulfig, 90, of Sandusky Michigan passed away Wednesday, November 29, 
2023 at United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital.  Christine was 
born in Minden City, Michigan on November 29,1933, to the late Leo and Matilda 
(Olshove) Osantowske.  She attended St. Philip Nerneri Catholic Schools in 
Detroit, Michigan graduating in 1951.  She married John Ulfig on August 21, 1954 
in Parisville, Michigan and he preceeded her in death on August 28, 2015.  She 
was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Christine was 
employed for 45 years at Beagio’s and later Jerry’s Foodland as a cook.  She 
enjoyed gardening, flowers and baking.

Christine is survived by her children, Kenneth (Gail) Ulfig, Kathy (Doug) 
Geraldo, Linda (Jeff) Brown, Larry (Susan) Ulfig, Carol (Dale) Fischer, Carl 
(Patty) Ulfig and Jeffery (Torrie) Ulfig; 21 grandchildren; 31 great 
grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Willis; and a sister 
in law, Selma Maurer.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, John Ulfig; brothers, Leonard 
and Leo; sisters, Gertrude Stockman, Sylvia Janowiak, Betty Ertman, Ester Konke, 
Bea Prang and Olave Bukoski.

The family received visitors from 2pm to 8pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 
Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky and from noon to 1pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 
at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sandusky.  A Rosary Service 
was held at 7pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Marsh Funeral Chapel.  A funeral 
mass was held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Holy Family Parish, St 
Joseph Catholic Church, Sandusky.  Burial followed at Moore Township Cemetery, 
Snover.  Friends may share an online condolence at www.marshfuneral.com.  
Arrangements have been entrusted to Marsh Funeral Chapel, 396 South Sandusky
