Runaway Accident
Owosso, Mich., July 1 - Miss Emma Frey was probably fatally injured in a 
runaway accident near here Sunday night.  She is a clerk in D.M. Christian's 
dry goods store and had just started for the country for a two weeks' vacation 
with her brother.  The horse became frightened, overturning the carriage.  
Miss Frey's scalp was partially torn from her head and the skull fractured by 
a kick from the horse.  Her brother, Fred Frey, and his wife were also in the 
carriage, but were not injured.  The girl is alive, but unconscious.
