Formerly of Owosso
Owosso, Mich., July 3  - A.S. Bliss, formerly of this city, committed suicide 
at Bakersfield, Cal.  He ws despondent from long illness.  Bliss was formerly 
a prominent citizen of Owosso.  He was captain of the military company here 
and finance keeper of the Maccabees.  He held $2,000 insurance in the latter 
order, which goes to his widow.  Mrs. Bliss is in Richmond, Mich.  The remains 
will be buried at Bakersfield.
