The Argus Press, April 24, 1897
John G. Bock, aged 37, residing two miles south of the city, died at 11 
o'clock last evening of consumption.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30, in the Evangelical 
Lutheran church, Rev. Paul J. Kionka officiating. Mr. Bock was the son of the 
late Jacob M. Bock, and leaves a wife and two children, a son of five years 
and a daughter of three.

Additional Comments:
John G. Bock's wife was Minnie C.(Krantz)Bock, son Alfred H. Bock, and 
daughter Cora Ella Bock.
John Bock is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan, 
Section C, Block 7, Lot 2, Grave 1.
