The shock produced heart trouble, and although everything possible was done for his relief, he was unable to rally and died in twenty minutes time. Mr Brown was one of the pioneers of the county having been a resident of this township for sixty years. He was a member of the Congregational Church and a very prominent Odd Fellow.
