Hosea Baker 1789-1842 Sally Baker 1789-1844 .Newburg cemetery is located  in 
Shawassee County, Shiawassee Township, ( Shi-Town ) on the East side of 
Bancroft road, between Newburg Road, to the South and Bennington road to the 
North. 

Additional Comments:
Inscription. First to homestead in Shiawassee County in 1833, founded Newburg 
on Chippewa Village Shingmasking.  first county supervisor 1836 dediated by 
Shiawassee township 1964
