This is a photo of the military headstone of Henry S. Van Curen.  Henry S Van 
Curen 1836-1892, Elcie Otis 1841-1919.  Henry is also listed on a larger stone 
that sits to the left of this one and includes his wife.  For my research, 
Henry S Van Curen is the brother to Abigail Rebecca Van Curen Sheppard.  
Rebecca's son James settled in Arenac county and is subsequently my great 
great grandfather.
