MEN WERE AT FAULT

Five Divorces Granted at Owosso by the Circuit Court

Owosso, June 23. - Five divorces were granted in the Circuit court yesterday 
afternoon by Judge S. F. Smith and in each case the offending matrimonial 
partner, the man, was enjoined from entering the married state again for two 
years.  "Other women will not be abused for a while," said the judge.



In the case of Bertha vs. Henry Clark, of Owosso, both were in court.  "Do you 
think he will marry again?" asked the court of Mrs. Clark.  "I dont know," 
replied the woman glaring at her late partner defiantly.  "He's going with an 
old girl now he kept company with before marrying me, but she's 49 years old 
and awful homely."



When the sheriff had squelched the laughter which followed this sally Clark was 
warned to stay single until 1905.
