Mr. Brown was retired from Ford Motor Company. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Bible Church and served on the church board, a member of the Lexington Lions Club and volunteered for Leader Dogs for the Blind. He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughters, Deborah McCormick of Kentucky and Beth Kinney of Goodells; sons, Richard and Russell, both of Emmett; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, Goodells, with Rev. Michael S. Durning officiating. Arrangements were made by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Goodells. Memorials can be made to Mt. Pleasant Bible Church or Leader Dogs for the Blind. The Blue Water Voice, St. Clair County, Michigan - November 25, 1998 dz
