Fiedler (picture) MARYSVILLE - Bernard Hoffmann Fiedler, 70, of Marysville, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998 after a long illness. He was born Aug. 19, 1928 in Port Huron and was a life long area resident. He married Audrey Elizabeth "Beth" French on May 7, 1955 in Port Huron. Mr. Fiedler retired in 1982 from Michigan Bell Telephone Company after thirty- five years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and was a volunteer with Mid City Nutrition. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Karen Fiedler of Lapeer; his mother, Agnes Fielder of Marysville; a sister, Agnes Warsinske of Port Huron; several nieces; a nephew; and many great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Ave. The Rev. Phyllis I. Hormann of St. Martin Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church.
