Obituary:

Bernice M. Hazuka

MARINE CITY - Bernice M. Hazuka, 81, of Marine City, went to be with her Lord on 
Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998.

She was born in Cherry Valley, Pennsylvania on April 28, 1998 (S/B ?), a daughter 
of Michael and Anna (Gora) Krzesak.  She married Paul J. Hazuka Sr. in 
Resurrection Catholic Church, Detroit, on June 19, 1937.  He preceded her in 
death on Oct. 18, 1978.

Bernice was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City.  She was also a 
charter member of L.O.T.A., Cardinal Mercier Knights of Columbus Council in 
Hamtramck.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara (Dennis M.) Love of Marine City; a son, Paul 
(Kathleen) Hazuka Jr. of Warren; a brother, Albert Krzesak of Detroit; sisters, 
Rose Brosofski of New Baltimore, Veronica Nowachewski of White Lake, Leona 
Lounsberry of North Carolina and Julie Marciniak of Clinton Twp.; ten 
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Loretta Krzesak of 
Warren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Krzesak in 1997.

Services are Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, 
followed by 10 a.m. Mass in Holy Cross Church with the Rev. James R. Wysocki 
presiding.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday with a Rosary Service Sunday at 
7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Church Activities Center or St. Vincent 
DePaul Society.
