Obituary of Eastman Triplets – Listed in the Daily Herald - 12/30/1905 "The funeral of the three little girls of Mr. and Mrs. George Eastman, Ninth street, was held this morning at 8 o'clock from the house. The burial will take place at Lakeside cemetery." Thompson – Listed in the Daily Herald - 12/30/1905 "Mrs. Isabella C. Thompson died at the home of Mrs. J. J. Stover, Ward street, yesterday afternoon, after a long illness. She was 57 years of age and had resided in Port Huron for a number of years. The remains were taken to Port Sanilac this afternoon for burial." Obituary of Charles K. Wells – Listed in the Daily Herald - 12/30/1905 "The funeral of Charles K. Wells, who died at the hospital Friday morning will be held from the residence of Thomas Crackel, Fourteenth st., Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. It will be under the auspices of the W. R. C. and the G. A. R., but will be otherwise private. Obituary of John J. Stover – Listed in the Port Huron Times Herald – 12/14/1925 "Late J. J. Stover Passenger Ship Captain 25 Years - Captain John J. Stover, 73, who for over 25 years had been master of passenger steamers of the White Star line operating between this port and Detroit and other lake ports, died at his home, 1014 Ward Street, Sunday morning. Captain Stover was born in St. Clair. At the time of his birth his father, John Stover, was serving as sheriff of St. Clair county, St. Clair at that time being the county seat. Captain Stover began his marine career when but a youth, his first experience being on fishing boats plying between this port and Sault Ste. Marie. Among some of the passenger steamers which Capt. Stover commanded during the last 25 years of his active marine career were the Metropolis, George L. Dunlap, Dove, Darius Cole, Greyhound, Arundell, Owana, City of Toledo and Tashmoo. Capt. Stover retired to private life about two years ago and for the past year he had been in ill health. He leaves his widow Rebecca Stover, and two sons, Frank B. Stover, Detroit and John J.
