Deaths -
Mrs. Anthony Kern
 Mrs. Cecelia Kern 77, widow of Anthony Kern, died Wednesday in her hiome, 18 
Taylor Street, after a long illness.
 Born in St. Martin, Austria. May 16, 1873.  Mrs. Kern lived here 41 years.  
Mr. Kern died March 5, 1939.
 Members of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and 
the Rosary Society of the churc, both of which Mrs. Kern was a member, will 
recite the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral home.
 She was a member of the Ladies Arbeiter Society.
 She is survived by two sons, Edward F. Kern, Port Huron and Jsoeph J. Kern, 
Abbottsford; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. 
Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas A. Connell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in 
Mt. Hope Cemetery.
 The remains at in the funeral home.
