  Lorne T. Kern
  Detroit - Lorne T. Kern, 50, Detroit, a former Port Huron resident, died May 
2, 1980 in Detroit. Lorne was born Jan 1, 1930 to the late Joseph & Florence 
Cosstick-Kern of Port Huron.
  Mr. Kern moved to Detroit in 1964.
  He is survived by four sons, Thomas C., Christopher J., Jeff M., and Timothy 
L., all of Port Huron; three daughters, Barbara A. Morrin, Sarnia, Linda L. 
Ledsworth and Cynthia S. Kern, both of Port Huron; two brothers, James, 
Madison Heights, Lawrence, South Haven; and a sister Sandra Slade, Port Huron.
  Services will be at ll a.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home - South 
Chapel. Rev. Robert Wurm, St. Stephen's Catholic Church, will officiate.
  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
