Landschoot, 71, of Fort Gratiot, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2005 in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1933 in Port Huron and was a life long resident.She married Raymond J. Landschoot on Aug. 14, 1959 in St. Stephen Catholic Church.Betty enjoyed bingo, reading, knitting, camping and traveling to Brimley. But most of all she loved her family very much.She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Landschoot of Fort Gratiot; her son, Randy A. Hills (Ginger) of Fort Gratiot; her daughters, Laura J. (Brian) Kinsella of Temperance, MI, Brenda H. (Bernie) Shafran of Port Huron, Julie M. Smith of Fort Gratiot, Mollie L. (Joe) Paterson of Marysville and Lisa E. Collinge (Nate) of Port Huron; grandchildren, John, Joel, Jason, Derek, Kevin, Joshua, Michael, Jacob, Cody, Selina, Emily and Logan; greatgrandchildren, Deven, Daniel, Matthew, Haiden and Isaac; brothers, John (Peggy) Pickelhaupt of Fort Gratiot and Mark (Cathy) Pickelhaupt of Taylor; and sisters, Sue (Bill) Atkinson and Judy (Rick) Tomrell, both of Port Huron.She was preceded in death by her son, Frank P. Landschoot; parents, John and June Pickelhaupt; brother, Emil Pickelhaupt; and a sister, Edith Hamilton.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21st, in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas F. Esper will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 20th, at KarrerSimpson Funeral Home and 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 21st, at the church. A scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Edward Catholic School.
