Port Huron - Bruce Oliver, 58, died Wednesday, May 10, 1989 in Mercy Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident, He 
married Barbara Warner, Jan. 3, 1949. He is survived by his wife; four 
daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Smith, Mrs. Clarence (Marsha) Miller, and Mrs. 
William (Deborah) Briggs all of Port Huron, and Mrs. Ed (Dianne) Healy of 
Dryde; three sons Rick (Donna) Oliver, Dale Oliver, and Randall (Brenda) 
Oliver all of Port Huron; 12 grandchildren; his mother Viola Oliver also of 
Port Huron, three brothers Jack (Carolyn) Oliver of South Haven, Paul (Fern) 
Oliver of San Antonio, Texas and Sylvester (Patty) Oliver of South Carolina; a 
sister Mrs. Stanley (Carylon) Lash of Marysville; siters-in-law, Mrs. Ethel 
Wudorski of Marysville, Jane Pickelhaupt and Jane Parker both of Port Huron; 
several nieces and nephews. He was proceded in death by a son , Scott Oliver, 
father, George Oliver, brother, Walt Oliver. Services will be held at 1 p.m. 
Saturday in the Arthur Smith Funreal Home-South Chapel, a Guardian Plan 
Chapel. The Rev. Jack Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside 
Cemetery.
