The Detroit News & Kaatz Funeral Home, 12-4-13 Henry B. Sajdak  85, of Wales Township, died Sunday December 1, 2013 at McLaren Macomb Hospital,  Clinton Township following a long illness. He was born in Detroit the son of the late Paul and Maryann (Gatney) Soyk on  July 14, 1928. He and Geraldine T. Lamka were married May 16, 1950 in Detroit and moved in 1980  to Wales. Henry worked over 31 years as a millwright in Detroit for General Motors and  retired in 1993. Surviving in addition to his wife Geraldine of 63 years is a daughter Geralyn  (Thomas) Kowalski of Marysville and sons Daniel of Wales, William of Harrison  Township and Allen of Columbus; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren;  his siblings, Edward (Norma) of KY, Paul (Christine) of FL. and Carl Sajdak of  MI and sister Jean Pleiza of Pinconning. Clinton Township following a long illness.
He was born in Detroit the son of the late Paul and Maryann (Gatney) Soyk on 
July 14, 1928.
He and Geraldine T. Lamka were married May 16, 1950 in Detroit and moved in 1980 
to Wales.
Henry worked over 31 years as a millwright in Detroit for General Motors and 
retired in 1993.

Wednesday 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral 
services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Fr. Joseph Horn, 
pastor of Holy Family Parish, Memphis, will officiate. Burial will be in Memphis 
Cemetery, Memphis.
Memorials are suggested to “Wishes of the Family”.
