Inscription: Jane Stewart McQueen 1819 - 1904

Jane was the daughter of Captain Harvey Stewart and Mary (nee Gravereat) 
Stewart of Harsen's Island, Michigan.

The Stewart and McQueen families came from Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland in 1764 
to Salem, Washington County, New York. Around 1800, Daniel McQueen Sr. moved 
from Salem to Camillus, Onondaga County, New York. Finally, around 1820 he 
moved his family to Harsen's Island, St. Clair County, Michigan.
