Rice, Stephen B., Richmond.  Enlisted in company B, Eighth Cavalry, Dec. 30, 
1862, at Richmond, for 3 years, age 32.  Mustered Dec. 30, 1862.  Reported as 
of company G.  Transferred to Invalid Corps Jan. 15, 1864.  Discharged at St. 
Paul, Minn. Oct. 4, 1865, from company C, Twenty-third Regiment, Veteran 
Reserve Corps.  Mr. Rice died 29 Jul 1896.
