JOSEPH DAILY/WEEKLY PRESS, THURSDAY, FEB.25, 1909 PORT HURON COUPLE HAVE QUITE VARRIED CAREER WEDDED, DIVORCED, REWED AND PARTED AGAIN IS LIFE HISTORY Port Huron, Mich., February 25. - Wedded, divorced and then remarried, all within the last 10 years, Margaret LaForge and George B. LaForge have once more parted. The wife has asked the circuit court for another divorce. The couple were first married August 12, 1898, and they managed to ride their conjugal ship without a mishap until November 13, 1907, when the anchor chain slipped and the husband was beached. But a few months later their matrimonial bark was again righted and they decided to make the course again. They had smooth sailing for a few months when another storm upset their journey, and the husband was again given his ticket of leave. Now for the second time, Mrs. LaForge has asked for legal protection, but George has not been idle in the meantime, it appears. On the other hand he is said to have boarded up their home windows, doors and every other manner of entrance so that his wife cannot get at the furniture. "And I'll have your life's blood, too," he is alleged to have told her, in addition to a number of other startling allegations.
