He has been sought for by the sheriff for a month. He came here from Kansas to pick berries and was driven insane by the excessive heat. He has remained hidden, and was only captured after a running fight though the woods. He is very vicious and dangerous. This makes the sixth insane person within a month captured by the sheriff within a radius of 12 miles from this city. The supervisors have ordered a padded cell to be built in the jail to accommodate the large increase of violent persons.
