Lepley was born in Colon Township, St. Joseph County, Michigan, November 23, 1883. he was the oldest son of John and Maggie (Wagner) Lepley. When ten years old he was deprived of the love of a father, when death called him in 1893. Glenn spent his boyhood days on his parents small farm which gave him access to nature, of which he was always fond. His education was obtained in the district and village schools. He was married to Miss Lena M. Spencer October 30, 1909. To them one child, Frank, has been born, he being six years old. Early in September he entered the employ of the Frost Gear & Axle Co., at Jackson, where he remained employed until his sickness. he was stricken with pneumonia last Tuesday Jan. 7 and taken to the Foote hospital in that city where all medical and nurse aid was given him, but to no avail, and his death occurred Monday morning, January 13, 1919, at 6;30 o'clock. Glenn learned the bakers art at which he worked seven years. All work that he undertook was well and faithfully performed. The funeral occurred at the home of his mother, in Colon, Wednesday, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. H. Palmatier. Interment in Lakeside cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss, a loving wife and son, a mother, one brother and many relatives and hosts of friends.
