ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED
A very pretty tea was given for Miss Helen Moffatt Friday evening of last week 
at the home of Miss Edith Curtis in Ludington, Mich., at which time the 
engagement of Miss Moffatt to Mr. Malcomb Sawyer was announced.

Miss Moffatt is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Moffatt of this city, and 
has been engaged as domestic science teacher at Ludington the past two years, 
during which time she became very popular with the younger people.

Mr. Sawyer is a highly esteemed young man of Ludington, and is in the 
newspaper business with his father.  Mr. Sawyer is also a law graduate of 
Michigan.

The nuptials will take place in the early summer.
