LUCE. JR., was born in 1858 in Meridian, Cayuga County, N. Y. His family left there and lived in Syracuse for a time, also at Elbridge and Auburn, N. Y., living at the latter place seven years, where he learned the business of a druggist. In 1881 he came to Caro, Tuscola County, and is proprietor of an extensive drug, news and stationery establishment. He has lately commenced the manufacture of several medicines, the formula for preparing which he has patented, and they have thus far been very favorably received by the public. Is a married man.
