STREET was born in Monroe, Mich., where his youthful days were spent and a part of his education was acquired. From there his parents removed to Bay City, and his father engaged in the drug business. Mr. S. was at one time during his residence in Bay City in the bank of C. F. Gibson, after which he was connected with the Second National Bank in that city. In 1875, in company with Mr. Charles Montague, the Caro Exchange Bank was organized, of which Mr. Street was made cashier, which position he still holds. He possesses first-class abilities for his work, and has won an enviable reputation in the community. Is a married man.
