James Blaylock, 54, 
Fairgrove, formerly of Bad Axe died Thurs at Bay City hosp after a 1 
day illness. Mr Blaylock operated a restaurant the past 7 months in 
Fairgrove. He was born June 29, 1906 in Huron County and was married 
to Helen Kolbert, Feb 19, 1936. Survivors are his widow; 4 sons, James, 
Gagetown, Robert, William & Thomas, all at home; 2 daughters, Sharon 
at home and Mrs Arlene Becking, Bad Axe; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, 
Isaac and William, Bad Axe; 2 sisters, Mrs Myrtle Reed, Bay City and 
Mrs Nellie Reynold, Cornith, MS. Remains will be in Clark funeral home, 
Fairgrove. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Mon in the First Presbyterian 
ch, Bad Axe. Burial will be in Verona cemetery.
