This venerable lady passed away on Monday at the age of 80 yrs. Mr. Pattison was taken ill last Wednesday having a slight stroke of apploxy and as pneumonia has set in, his death is looking for at anytime. There is something sad and yet beautiful in the death of these two old people who have traveled life's journey together for about sixty years, and who will enter the world beyond at about the same time. Only last week, Tuesday when Mr. Pattison was taken to the cemetery to select a lot he said, "Jennette will lay here soon, and I will follow only a step behind." Since her death he has longed for his time to come refusing to eat and almost praying that death might releave him. Yesterday after coming out of a sinking spell he said "It is beautiful, It is beautiful."
