Besides his widow, Pvt Laslo is survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs Joseph Laslo, Bad Axe; three brothers, Pvt Paul Laso in Hawaii; Lewis Laslo, Deerfield, MI and Joseph Laslo, Jr. At home and nine sisters, Mrs Charles Trigger and Mrs George Steadman, both of Carsonvile, Mrs Theresa Laslo, Detroit; Mrs Irene Isaia, Dearborn and Mrs. Anna Califf and Misses Iola, Edith, Leona, and Rose Laslo all of Bad Axe. He was born March 2, 1912 in Saskatchewan and came to MI when he was 10yrs old. He married Helen Frederick, Cass City, July 2, 1938. He left Nov 18, 1943 to enter the Army and had a furlough which ended Easter Sunday. He left for overseas shortly afterward. The last letter received fromhim was dated Jun 12 in which he told of taking part in the battle of Cherbourg. dz
