Donald Elton Willis
April 2, 1938 - October 9, 2003
Donald Elton Willis, 65, of Cass City, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at Covenant 
Health Center-Harrison, Saginaw.  Willis was born April 2, 1938 in Cass City, 
the son of Elton and Helen (Burgess) Willis.  He married Constance Jean 
Komonowski oh April 14, 1982 in Nevada.  He graduated from Cass City High School 
in 1957.  He was employed with Tuscola County as an animal control officer for 
some 26 years prior to his retirement.  

He is survived by his wife, Constance; three sons: Timothy (Joyce) Willis of 
Deford, Thomas (Hazel) Willis of Bradenton, Florida, and Jeff (Connie) Willis of 
Gagetown; two step-daughters: Stacey Horiski of Caro and Keltic (Leroy) Beecher 
of Cass City; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Ann (Clare) Mellendorf of Cass 
City; a brother, James (Ruthann) Willis of Munising; and four nieces and 
nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 11, at the Deford Community Church.  
Burial was in the Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.   Memorials may be made 
to the Willis family or the Deford Christian Academy. Arrangements were made by 
the Collon Funeral Home, Caro.  Published Cass City Chronicle Wednesday October
