LUMAN
1864 - 1942

Luman Larrabee, Jr. (August 12, 1864 – June 29, 1942) and Adeline “Addie” 
(Chase) Larrabee (April 8, 1869 – May 15, 1956).  Luman was the son of Luman 
Larrabee, Sr. and his first wife Margaret (Flack) Larrabee who are buried in 
Riverside Cemetery.  Addie was the daughter of William and Jane “Jennie” 
Chase.   

Luman and Addie had six children:  

Alta “Altie” E. Larrabee (August 3, 1891 – October 1973), who married Lucille 
A. Chappell; 
Nelson W. Larrabee (March 3, 1896 – June 3, 1974), who first married Doris 
Coleman and, after their divorce, married Ruth I. (Born) Golden; 
Florence “Flossie” Larrabee (August 5, 1898 – September 17, 1900), who died in 
childhood; 
Nellie A. Larrabee (October 22, 1901 – November 23, 1974), who married Edmond 
W. Rock; 
Sophia “Sophie” Larrabee (1905 – January 12, 1931), who never married; and 
Vietta Larrabee (1911 – May 18, 1934), who never married.
