Violet Mary Freeman (May 1897 - August 14, 1931), daughter of Peter and Agnes 
Freeman, was the first wife of Melvin Elias Gibbs (July 19, 1898 - June 28, 
1973), son of Elias S. and Mary E. (Peck) Gibbs.  Melvin and Violet had four 
children.    

Additional Comments:
After Violet's death Melvin married Ernestine M. Brock (September 24, 1922 - 
January 21, 1996), daughter of Ray F. and Maggie (Guilds) Brock. Melvin and 
Ernestine had seven children.
