Gibbs (June 17, 1839 – August 18, 1893), son of Melvin and Mary (Benson) Gibbs. Marvin married Margaret Jane (Delling) Gibbs (February 4, 1841 – May 14, 1912), daughter of William and Mary (Waterous) Delling. Marvin and Margaret had four children: William Melvin “Mellie” Gibbs (April 16, 1859 – March 26, 1895), Daniel Ozelle “Zellie” Gibbs (1863 - ?), Chester Frank Gibbs (August 2, 1868 – April 17, 1873), and Lyle Gibbs (June 14, 1882 – March 29, 1883). After Marvin’s death, Margaret remarried. Her second husband was Alonzo “Lon” Richards (1847 - ?), son of Lewis and Julia (Behner) Richards. Buried on this lot are Marvin B. Gibbs, Margaret Jane (Delling) Gibbs, and two of their four sons, Chester Frank and N. Lyle Gibbs. In addition to a grave marker, each has an inscription on the family monument on this lot.
