H. HOWARD POWERS
DDS
1882 – 1951

Henry Howard Powers, DDS, was the son of W.D. and Mary (Howard) Powers.  
Howard’s first wife was Mabel ( ? ) Powers (1883 - ?). They had one son, H. 
Dudley Powers.  Howard’s second wife was Marion E. (Gibbs) Powers (July 16, 
1900 – March 17, 1992), daughter of Thomas O. and Cora M. (Smith) Gibbs.  
Howard and Marion had no children.

Previous to her marriage to Howard Powers, Marion had been married to Jack 
Armstrong, but they divorced.  Jack and Marion had one daughter, Priscilla 
Armstrong (March 19, 1922 – February 3, 1986) who went by the name Priscilla 
Armstrong Powers since she was raised by her mother and her step-father, 
Howard Powers.

In 1954 Marion married James A. Gallery (August 21, 1900 – July 22, 1965), son 
of Arthur D. and Anna (Mead) Gallery.  James had been married previously and 
had three daughters.
