CLAUDE C.
CHADWICK
1879 – 1904

Claude C. Chadwick (July 1879 – July 1904) was the son of John Ansel “Ansel” 
Chadwick (May 21, 1853 – February 11, 1938) and Persis Elizabeth (Slafter) 
Chadwick (May 12, 1858 – July 28, 1932).  Claude is buried on the John 
Chadwick family lot in Block F, Sec 22 of Riverside Cemetery.  Also buried on 
this lot are Claude’s grandparents John and Louisa (Lambert) Chadwick; his 
parents John “Ansel” and Persis Chadwick; his aunt Delsa (Chadwick) Phillips 
and her husband Robert Phillips; and one of Claude’s brothers, Guy Chadwick.  
Each has a grave marker.
	
There is a John Chadwick family monument on this lot, and the top of it bears 
an inscription about John Chadwick.
